About the project
European Frontrunner project stands ready to step up the fostering of home-grown young entrepreneurs towards scaling innovation across Europe, from the resources to the clients. Not facing the European community challenges, could increase in major local problems and constrain the social and economic evolution. The project will focus on building the capacities of youth workers to allow them to acquire the knowledge and competences for a far-reaching European action by supporting the co-development and execution by young business innovators of market-oriented needs with clear social impact. This will not only bring the European dimension to the local level, but also it will connect these entrepreneurs to new European markets unknown for them.
The project aims at:(1)Give voice to European communities bearing interests about hard-to-solve, high impact social problems; (2)Incentivize young entrepreneurs to pioneer innovation within the social sector through ground-breaking entrepreneurial ideas responding to concrete social needs that are formulated as precise challenges; (3)Encourage a team up between business entrepreneurs who determine solutions to social challenges; (4) Raising awareness on the added value of strengthening the cities facing greater social challenges; (5)Setting up a model ecosystem to be implemented in formal learning as well; (6) Increase the engagement of youngster to continue building European innovative communities through EU added values; (7) Create a common European workplace where the local challenges are a real opportunity to bring young European citizens together and tackle them.
